BOOK-SIGNING!! Richard Wesley's New Book! "IT'S ALWAYS LOUD IN THE BALCONY" - FEBRUARY 19, 2020

Hi Everybody, I will be appearing at the New York University Bookstore on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, for a discussion of my latest book, IT'S ALWAYS LOUD IN THE BALCONY, a historical memoir of my bearing witness to the Black Arts Movement and the modern age of Black Theater from 1965 to the present, from Harlem to Hollywood and back. Terry Curtis Fox, Chair of the Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing in the Tisch School of the Arts, will pose questions as the host and moderator for the evening. We begin at 6 PM. The address is 726 Broadway, near Waverly Place in Lower Manhattan, near the 8th Street stop of the R and W subway trains on the BMT line. If you're in the neighborhood, come on by.
